We are having pea soup weather; thick with fog, unseasonably warm, and drippy. I haven’t been feeling very well for the last few days, but today I felt up for a short walk with the dog through the park along the lake. 46 degrees F in Wisconsin in the middle of December is quite warm indeed, and neither Skelly or I are complaining.
As usual, Skelly made a new best friend on our walk, this time a builder who is doing work down the street. This dog has such a knack for drawing people in and then giving them some love. We’ve had him for over a year now, and I still can’t get used it. People go nuts over him. I’ve never met a dog who can so quickly get a complete stranger to squat on the ground and wrap their arms around his neck. I love how happy he makes people. Once we get settled in Texas, I’m going to go about having him approved to visit nursing homes. He is the perfect height for petting, especially for those who are wheelchair or bed bound. And lord knows he loves attention!
What a sweet pup!
